This new addition, marked 'GT', can handle 2.5 times the cranking current of the standard version yet is only 20% longer and 25% heavier. Naturally there was interest from teams running large petrol engines but also from those using diesel power too. Tests for vehicle-to-vehicle winching will be carried out soon. 23/12/07 DEALER IN DUBAI Cartek are pleased to announce the appointment of Gulf Sport Racing as the official distributor for Dubai. MD Neil Armstrong states "Although the weight saving is unlikely to represent any increase in a car's performance, when it comes to motorsport products the lighter the part is the more resistant it will be to shock and vibration". Neil continues "This component is so critical to the safety and reliability of a race car that our continual endeavour is to make it bullet-proof".
